Earlier this week, the company of CHICAGO took their act uptown, to Central Park. To celebrate the musical's 20th Anniversary, fans got to experience the razzle dazzle with a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park. The cast of Chicago, Broadway's longest running musical, is celebrating this production's twentieth birthday today! For this momentous day, the cast are taking to the streets, with a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park. Doors open at 7PM and the show begins at 8PM. We were lucky enough to catch up with some of the cast as they made their final preparations for today's show.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director JuliAnne Boyd and Managing Director TriStan Wilson, presents Gilbert & Sullivan's THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, starring Will Swenson as 'The Pirate King.'

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, announced the creation of The Wolfson Theater Center, at 122 North Street, Pittsfield, MA. and Broadwayworld was there. The center is made possible through a generous gift from Jessie and Bernard Wolfson, and will serve as the center of BSC operations. Renovations on the building are set to begin in August 2016, with the administrative offices set to relocate in November 2016. BSC's current office space, known as Octagon House (58 Union Street), will be converted into company housing. A.J. Schnopp Jr. Construction Inc., of Dalton, MA, will be the general contractor.
