The 2015 "Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 17" now is available on iTunes. The 19-track album of original and traditional holiday music features stars and casts from the current Broadway line-up, and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. The entire album is available for $15.99, and includes a digital booklet with liner notes about each participating cast, designating soloists and session photos. Individual tracks also may be purchased for $.99 each.
Ghostlight Records will highlight the beloved score for The Bridges of Madison County in its exclusive iTunes podcast series 'Ghostlight Shines On,' in which artists explore their albums in-depth, track-by-track, with music interwoven with commentary. In the series, key figures from each musical discuss the songs, recording the album, and share personal stories behind the music. The Bridges of Madison County, which won 2014 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Orchestrations, is currently on a national tour through July 2016. The podcast includes remarks from three-time Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown and the show's original leading lady Kelli O'Hara, who earned her fifth Tony Award nomination for this role. INSPIRATIONAL BROADWAY - an evening of Broadway, R&B, Gospel, and Pop classics featuring Broadway's brightest lights and an ensemble of uplifting voices - has added special guest stars Adam Pascal, Eden Espinosa, Telly Leung and Jarrod Spector. The concert takes place at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill on February 15, 2016 at 7:30 PM (Doors at 6:00 PM). Michael McElroy and The Broadway Inspirational Voices will be joined by previously-announced performers Billy Porter, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Joshua Henry and Marcus Paul James. The music will be performed with the signature soul and innovative musical arrangements of the Grammy-nominated Broadway Inspirational Voices. This event will help benefit the BIV Outreach Program. On Thanksgiving Day, BroadwayWorld announced the nominees in 14 categories for the 2015 BWW New York Cabaret Awards. BroadwayWorld's cabaret editors and reviewers congratulate all the deserving nominees and everyone who performs in the great art of cabaret in New York. But today, as you munch on the leftovers from last night's dinner, it's time to actually vote for that one performer who you think is the absolute best in each category. Voting ends on December 31 and after a review of the ballots, winners will be announced officially early the week of January 4, 2016. (Note: There will not be a BWW Awards Show this year.)

Here's some breaking news you can discuss and debate in between courses at tonight's dinner: It's the final nominees for the 2015 BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Awards. This year, the cabaret editors and writers at BWW have cited 116 nominees (including duos and variety show/recurring series producers) in 14 categories. In addition, this year six performers or musicians have been cited for special “Editor's Choice Awards,” led by veteran New York cabaret stars Karen Mason and Mark Nadler who have been named “Performers of the Year.”
