The 32nd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards were held on Monday, June 2 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

The first set of presenters have been announced for the 32nd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards which will be held on Monday, June 2 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Set to present are Tony Award-winners Hal Prince & Bebe Neuwirth, Emmy Award-winner Valerie Harper, Scandal's Joe Morton, Dancing with the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Sandy Duncan. Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special evening highlighting some of Broadway's most exciting shows. The special night featured performances by Fantasia Barrino, Adam Jacobs, James Monroe Iglehart, Kelli O'Hara, Nick Cordero, Brooks Ashmanskas, Jefferson Mays, Bryce Pinkham, Lena Hall, Caissie Levy, Andy Karl and more. The nominees have been announced for the 32nd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards, which will be held on Monday, June 2 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

It was announced today during a live appearance from the stage of the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, that Multi-Platinum recording artist and actress Vanessa Williams is set to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical, After Midnight. Williams will play performances from Tuesday, April 1, 2014 through Sunday, May 11, 2014 at theBrooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, After Midnight began preview performances on Friday, October 18, 2013, and opened to rave reviews on Sunday, November 3, 2013.

Original cast member and Grammy Award winner Fantasia plays her final performance as the 'Special Guest Star' in Broadway's AFTER MIDNIGHT today, Feb. 9, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. She will be succeeded by singer k.d. lang on Feb. 11, who will remain with the production through March 9

Broadway Underground: THE REMIX, hosted by Jared Grimes of Broadway's AFTER MIDNIGHT, is set for B.B. King's on January 6, 2014. This open mic style event will allow all artists to freely perform in front of the world.

Rehearsals are now underway as high school singers from five New York City public schools and a community youth choir join together with young instrumentalists from the recently launched Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra (JLCYO) to prepare for an exciting March 2014 concert at Carnegie Hall. The performance is the culmination of a year-long creative learning project spotlighting Duke Ellington's legendary sacred music.

Hand-picked by Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center's nine-time Grammy and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning Artistic Director, the band includes 17 of the finest soloists and ensemble players in the music world today. Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny 'Babyface' Edwards are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists set to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the new Broadway musical After Midnight. With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edwards will join the company following k.d. lang, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 through Sunday, March 30, 2014. As previously announced, After Midnight will reintroduce the Cotton Club's exciting tradition of welcoming the stars of today in limited engagements throughout the musical's run.
