Walnut Street Theatre's production of Oliver! is, in a word, stunning. This might seem like an odd word choice for a show that mainly takes place in the workhouse and seedier sides of Victorian London but there is no other way to describe the technical beauty of the show.

Rainbow Around the Sun will be featured as part of the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival and is a rock musical by Matthew Alvin Brown (music and lyrics) and Tom Stuart (book and additional lyrics), with musical direction by Nathan Siver and directed by Nick Demos at the 45th Street Theatre.
A Concert Fundraiser is being produced by Ergo Theatre Company and Erica Ruff in order to raise money for the debut CD of composer/writer Bobby Cronin. The concert will take place on Sunday, August 23 at 7PM at the Duplex Theatre (61 Christopher Street).

The 2008 Tony Award nominated production of GREASE will play its final performance on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street) on Sunday, January 4, 2009. Upon closing, GREASE will have played 554 performances and 31 previews. The first national tour, starring 'American Idol' winner Taylor Hicks, launched Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI.
