The Carlyle, a Rosewood Hotel, is pleased to welcome Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch back to Bemelmans Bar for an extended Sunday night residency. The upcoming performances will build upon their recent run of shows in the intimate, storied New York City lounge, favorites not only of music fans and critics, but also of fellow artists. Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch shows are a place where some of the city's foremost entertainers go to commune with their own-and sometimes sit-in for a song or two-on their nights off. The pair will be at Bemelmanswith their evening of swinging standards Sunday nights, April 6 - May 25.

Now in its 16th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook continues to expand its scope celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. Featured over the weekend was Jim Caruso's Cast Party Goes to the Movies, with Billy Stritch, featuring Marilyn Maye, Jane Monheit, Christina Bianco & Jeffry Denman.

On Friday, March 7, Lincoln Center's American Songbook Presented 'Jim Caruso's Cast Party Goes To The Movies,' with two shows at The Allen Room overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park South. Host Jim Caruso and Musical Director Billy Stritch, along with the Cast Party Symphony Orchestra (David Katzenberg on bass and Daniel Glass on drums) celebrated the Golden Age of Hollywood with a variety show starring a dazzling roster of friends including Christina Bianco, Jeffry Denman, Natalie Douglas, Clarke Thorell, Marilyn Maye, and Jane Monheit. Quickly becoming one of the most eagerly watched talents, Broadway/jazz singer Morgan James has been lauded by major critics as one of the most exciting new vocalists of this century. Ms. James will perform 7:30pm, Sunday, April 6, as part of Bay Area Cabaret's series at the historic Venetian Room of the Fairmont San Francisco, 950 Mason Street.

Enjoy an evening under the stars in the Ware Center's Atrium with traditional and contemporary original folk music from Ireland, Australia and the USA. The Jammin' Divas are Aoife Clancy (Grammy Nominee with Cherish the Ladies), Becky Chace, Kath Buckell and Hadar Noiberg, flutist. They perform at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com), the nationally acclaimed summer arts day camp once again named a 'Best Camp for 2013' by TimeOutNY/Kids, will present In Focus, a month-long exhibit of student photography from today, March 4, 2014 through Friday, April 4th, 2014 in the lobby gallery of 430 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10022. An Opening Reception will take place tonight, March 4 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

On Sunday February 23 at Joe's Pub, BroadwayWorld.com celebrated the best New York cabaret performers, performances and shows during 2013 as voted on by more than 7,500 fans at the end of last year. With BroadwayWorld's lead New York cabaret columnist and reviewer Stephen Hanks as the host, many of the Award winners appeared to perform, and as you'll see in these videos they put on an amazingly entertaining show.

On April 28, Symphony Space will host its spring gala, Fiddler at 50, to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Fiddler on the Roof. The evening will honor Sheldon Harnick, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist behind the iconic musical.

The World Premiere of Stories From the Night Before, a new evening of dance theater created by Maurice Brandon Curry, Chair of the Dance Department of Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, will be presented on Sunday and Monday March 16 and 17 at 7 PM at New York University's Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place (just off Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village), New York, NY 10012.
