Berkshire Playwrights Lab will present a staged reading of Richard Dresser's The Handyman, directed by Joe Cacaci, today, August 7 at 7:30pm at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center (14 Castle Street, Great Barrington, Mass.).

MUSE/IQUE, known for its counter-conventional performances that feel more like parties than formal concerts, continues 'Summer of Sound' 2013 with 'Moving Pictures' featuring groundbreaking cellist Matt Haimovitz and Emmy Award-winning actress Wendie Malick ('Hot in Cleveland') in a fresh take on motion picture scores by Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith, Vangelis, Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Claude-Michel Schonberg and Erich Korngold as well as the world premiere of Sleepwalking, a concerto for cello and chamber orchestra with images by Peter Golub, prolific composer and director of Sundance's Film Music Program, tonight, July 27, 2013, 7:30 pm, outdoors at Caltech's Beckman Mall in Pasadena.

The cast will include Wendie Malick, currently co-starring in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland, Berkshire Playwrights Lab Co-Artistic Director Jim Frangione, and two other actors TBA. There is no charge for admission, however, Berkshire Playwrights Lab suggests a $10.00 donation to help offset its programming costs. The Public Theater announced today that Kevin Kline will reprise his Tony Award-winning role of The Pirate King with Glenn Close as Ruth, Eric Idle as the Sergeant, and Martin Short as Major-General Stanley in the one-night-only concert performance of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE for The Public's annual gala. TV Land announced today that the ladies of 'Hot in Cleveland' will soon be getting some special visitors in town as Mary Tyler Moore, Valerie Harper and Cloris Leachman reunite with their co-star of 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' Betty White. The casting news comes just weeks after Harper's diagnosis in January of leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare and incurable form of brain cancer.

TV Land has renewed 'Hot in Cleveland' for a fifth season, it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land. The 24-episode order brings the series to a total of 104 episodes. This past January, CBS Television Distribution announced that it has sold 'Hot in Cleveland' to TV stations in 92% of the United States for a September 2014 launch. The series stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White.

TV Land announced today that television comedy legends Carol Burnett and Tim Conway will guest star on 'Hot in Cleveland' in an episode currently scheduled to air in August. Burnett will play Victoria's (Wendie Malick) mother Penny, a local TV legend and puppeteer on a children's program. Conway will make his return to the series as Nick, Elka's (Betty White) ex-boyfriend, but this time around, Nick has his heart set on Penny.
