Ken Ludwig's comedy LEND ME A TENOR began previews on Friday March 12 in preparation for opening night on April 4. at Broadway's Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Tony Shalhoub, about to make his return to Broadway in Ken Ludwig's LEND ME A TENOR, will submit himself to the panel on National Public Radio's popular program, Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me! this weekend when he is a guest on the "Not My Job" portion of the oddly informative quiz show.

Due to the timing of the start of LEND ME A TENOR's preview performances and director Stanley Tucci's travel to and from The Academy Awards, the producers of the comedy said today that performances will now begin on March 12, one day later than previously announced. Mr. Tucci has been nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in 'The Lovely Bones.' Ticketholders for March 11 may exchange or return those tickets at the point of purchase.

WhatsOnStage.com is reporting that a West End production of 'Lend Me a Tenor' may be in the works for fall of 2010. Casting is reportedly underway, with plans for a short run at the Plymouth prior to a potential transfer to the West End.
