Located at 339 West 47th Street, this theater district landmark has fallen on hard times in recent years & so member, producer Randie Levine-Miller spoke to Rabbi Jill Hausman and said, 'Let's put on a musical -- benefit!' The rabbi was delighted, so Randie reached out to some of her theater and cabaret friends, and voila.

Yesterday, October 17, The Town Hall presented Broadway Originals. The afternoon featured songs and memories with performers reprising songs they introduced either in the original Broadway production or revival. This three-concert series, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for THE TOWN HALL, took place over one weekend and included Broadway Melody Makers on Friday, October 15th and Betty Buckley in Concert on Saturday, October 16 at 8PM.

Broadway's Robert Cuccioli made his Feinstein's debut on October 11 at 8:30pm. His show, A Standard Love, featured the music of Sammy Cahn, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Richard Rodgers and others. Songs include: The Look of Love, How Little It Matters (How Little We know), Ain't That A Kick In The Head, All Of You, Love Is Here To Stay, A Fine Romance, I Wanna be Around, I've Got You Under My Skin, Prisoner Of Love, Body And Soul, You Don't Know What Love Is, By Myself, Too Close For Comfort, I Like To Read, When I Dance, The folks Who Live On The Hill...and others. On Monday, September 13, The Actors Fund hosted a party for 'The Friends of The Lillian Booth Actors Home' at Gloria Crest, in Englewood, NJ, the former estate of film legend Gloria Swanson and now the home of the evening's hosts Jan and Edward Turen. The Turens welcomed Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell, and the evening's entertainment host Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth. Emmy and Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams, Tony Award-nominated actor/singer Tom Wopat and singer-songwriter-pianist Peter Cincotti and his band, among others performed. Jim Caruso was delighted to present William Blake in concert as part of the Broadway at Birdland series on Monday, September 6.

'Romance' by David Mamet, directed by Lisa Peterson, recently opened at Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, New York. cast members include: Chris Bauer, Darrell Hammond, Richard Kind, Matt McGrath, Joe Pallister, Reg Rogers and Joey Slotnick. Second Stage Theatre opened it's latest production, TRUST, starring Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor, on August 12. TRUST is written by Paul Weitz and directed by Peter DuBois.
