Jamie Wilson and Curve have just announced the World Premiere of "AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN - THE MUSICAL" which will open at Curve on 6 April 2018 before playing at theatres across the UK and in Ireland including Manchester Opera House in August 2018.

Jamie Wilson and Gavin Kalin have announced that Charlotte Wakefield will play 'Polly' in the national tour of the Watermill Theatre's acclaimed production of 'CRAZY FOR YOU'. Charlotte joins the previously announced Tom Chambers as 'Bobby' and Caroline Flack as 'Irene'. 'CRAZY FOR YOU' opens at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth on 17 August 2017.

THE MUSICAL opening at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on Friday 20 October 2017. Daniel Boys will play 'Paul Maddens', Sarah Earnshaw 'Jennifer Lore' and Simon Lipkin 'Mr Poppy'. They will be joined by Andy Barke, Jamie Chapman, Jemma Churchill, Gary Davis and Katia Sartini. Further casting and childrens casting to be announced soon.

Christmas may be over for another year, but Birmingham Repertory Theatre is already on the lookout for young actors to star in the forthcoming world premiere production of NATIVITY! THE MUSICAL, which opens in Birmingham later this year, before touring around the country.

This year, The Watermill Theatre, celebrates 50 years as one of the most successful regional producing theatres in the UK.

THE MUSICAL opening at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on Friday 20 October 2017 prior to a short tour visiting Southend Cliffs Pavilion, Sheffield Lyceum, Manchester Palace, Plymouth Theatre Royal, a London season at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo and a Christmas season at Leeds Grand Theatre.

2017 marks the 50th anniversary of The Watermill Theatre which today announces the first part of the season for this celebratory year. On general sale from 14 November and to Friends of the Watermill from 7 November.

Jamie Wilson and the Leicester Curve's new production of Sister Act contains all of the ingredients for a smash-hit musical: a star director, a celebrity lead, a well-known, beloved story based on a popular film, and a plethora of sequins and catchy tunes.  Based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Sister Act follows the story of Deloris Van Cartier, an aspiring Philadelphia club singer. When Doloris witnesses her mobster boyfriend Curtis commit murder, she rushes to the police and old high school friend, Eddie, hides her in the one place she surely won't be found: a convent. The Mother Superior abhors Deloris' outspoken and extravagant nature. However, Deloris soon forms a close bond with the other sisters, transforming their pitiful choir with soul and funk versions of their usual hymns. When the convent choir's growing popularity puts Deloris' safety at risk, the sisters and even Mother Superior risk everything to protect her. 

Following rave reviews and a successful season at the Watermill Theatre, Jamie Wilson, Gavin Kalin and the Watermill Theatre are delighted to announce a national tour of the musical "CRAZY FOR YOU", starring Tom Chambers as 'Bobby'. Based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Sister Act premiered onstage in the West End in 2009 starring Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier and Sheila Hancock as the Mother Superior. The lavish production opened at the London Palladium to critical acclaim and has enjoyed many revivals across the globe ever since. The last major UK production was in 2010, starring the now Tony award-winning Cynthia Erivo which took the same format as the original production. Craig Revel Horwood's new take on the musical, produced by Jamie Wilson, opened officially at the Curve in Leicester last night before it begins its UK tour.

The Curve's all new production of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT, directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, opens tonight 30 July 2016.
