'Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike' will be onstage at Paper Mill Playhouse from January 21st through February 15th. Broadwayworld.com had the opportunity to interview Mark Nelson who stars as Vanya in this touching and comical Tony Award winning play.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for its winter comedy, Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. This touching and wickedly hysterical Tony Award-winning best play features Broadway, television and film veterans: Philippe Bowgen (Spike), Gina Daniels (Cassandra), Carolyn McCormick (Masha), Mark Nelson (Vanya), Michele Pawk (Sonia) and Jamie Ann Romero (Nina). Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will be directed by Don Stephenson. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from January 21 through February 15, 2015. The Colorado Theatre Guild's 9th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada, Colorado. The actors comfortable interpretation of this verse, along with fantastic staging and great sword play made this show truly exceptional evening of theater.

Malvolio is much, much darker and when he vows revenge in the last scene it comes off as ominous and sinister. It left me wondering if there was going to be a sequel - "Friday the 13th Night!" "Malvolio's Revenge!" "The Dark Night Rises!"
