Ghostlight Records will release the concert recording of When Everything Was Possible, an exciting and poignant evening celebrating Broadway's Golden Age starring Kurt Peterson and Victoria Mallory, on May 13.

  Centenary Stage Company's Nextstage Repertory presents Into the Woods April 28 through May 8 in the Sitnik Theater of the Lackland Performing Arts Center.

Although it has been revived in New York three times - twice on Broadway and once Off-Broadway - and is frequently produced by community and school groups, ANYTHING GOES has not been seen in its original form since it closed on Broadway in 1935.  The original 1934 version of ANYTHING GOES will set sail at Lyric Stage June 17-26, 2016 in the Irving Arts Center's Carpenter Performance Hall.  Tickets are available online @ www.lyricstage.org or by calling 972-252-2787.

Centenary College Theater Department's Nextstage Repertory presents Into the Woods April 28 through May 8 in the Sitnik Theater of the Lackland Performing Arts Center.  Into the Woods was created by Stephen Sondheim and writer James Lapine and it originally premiered in 1987 on Broadway.  The musical is set in an alternate world of four of The Grimm's fairy tales.  Into the Woods tells the tale of a childless baker and his wife who are desperate to have a baby.  They attempt to lift the curse that has been placed on the Baker's side of the family by a witch because his father stole magic beans.  Along the way they encounter Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.  Each one of the characters have a desperate desire that they will do anything to achieve, but when wishes don't go the way they thought they would, the characters realize something that had never occurred to them before; that maybe wishes aren't always what they appear to be.

Peter Pardini's meticulously detailed documentary, NOW MORE THAN EVER: THE HISTORY OF CHICAGO, is a classic tribute to the iconic 'rock band with horns,' delivering a candid and intimate portrait of the young men who, in 1967, embarked on a journey of extraordinary musical innovation and today are legends in their own time.

The Count Basie Theatre has extended its entry deadline and announced its panel of esteemed judges for PROJECT FX, its statewide student film festival presented by Bank Of America and Sony Pictures Classics.
