The Heritage Forum of Anaheim, California presented 'Broadway Rocks Anaheim' on Saturday, November 27 at 8 p.m. The performances benefitted the Anaheim Performing Arts Foundation (APAC) and will feature John Lloyd Young (Tony Award JERSEY BOYS), James Barbour (Broadway's JANE EYRE and DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST), James Snyder (Broadway's CRYBABY), Julie Garnye, Joan Ryan, Derek Klena ('American Idol'), Erich Bergen, Jenna Leigh Green (WICKED), Doug Carpenter, Aleks Pevec, Lesli Margherita (Olivier Award winner, ZORRO), Nicole Parker (WICKED), David Engel, Erica Ash, Berlando Drake, Crystal Starr Knighton, Jenna Leigh Green (WICKED), Jennifer Aedo, Vicki Lewis, Mary Ann Mobley (Miss America), Caitlin Baunoch, Tyler Milliron, Nathan Shrake, Jeremy Davison, the Kids Next Door from the Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA) and the cast of The Marvelous Wonderettes - Bets Malone, Beth Malone, Misty Cotton and Darcie Roberts. Joining the principal cast, with previously announced lead actress Jenny Powers (Broadway's Grease) as Veronica Franco, are James Snyder (Drama League Award-nominee for Broadway's Crybaby) as Marco, Bryce Ryness (Drama Desk Award-nominee for Broadway's Tony Award-winning revival of Hair) as Maffio, Laila Robins (Broadway's Heartbreak House) as Paola, Michael Rupert (Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Sweet Charity) as Domenico, Megan McGinnis (Ovation Award-nominee for the Rubicon Theatre's Daddy Long Legs) as Beatrice, John Antony (Broadway's Passion) as Pietro and Morgan Weed (Second Stage Theatre's Next to Normal) as Giulia. Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller directs the world premiere, which begins performances on February 1, 2011 with the official press opening on February 13, 2011 at Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue).

Cabaret at the Castle has proven there is indeed a market for cabaret in Los Angeles over the last month, with crowds flocking to performances by Sharon McNight in 'RED HOT MAMA,' Jake Broder in 'HIS HIPNESS LORD BUCKLEY,' and Edward Sayegh's 'A NIGHT OF RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN 2.'

Stltoday.com reports that the New Line Theatre in St. Louis has secured the rights to the musical Cry-Baby, which had a short run on Broadway in 2008. The musical will takes it's regional debut bow in the Spring of 2010, according to the report.

The evening was directed by Edward Sayegh and featured Gil Darnell, James Snyder, Alli Mauzey, Alli McGinnis, Anthony Carillo, Carolyn Schultz, Reid Lee, Amy Lawrence, Cynthia Stults, Marikah Cunningham and Lisaun Whittingham, all vocal students of Mr. Sayegh. The evening was in support of The American Musical Theater Workshop. (AMTW) And... T'was A Grand Night of Singing!
