As reported yesterday, Tony Award-nominee Montego Glover and Alex Finke will join Alfie Boe, the internationally-acclaimed performer who takes over the role of Jean Valjean in Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, on Sept 1. Glover succeeds Erika Henningsen as Fantine, while Finke (making her Broadway debut) replaces original cast member Samantha Hill. Glover, who also received the Drama Desk and Outer Critics' Circle Awards for her acclaimed performance in Memphis, most recently co-starred on Broadway in the musical It Shoulda Been You. Also on September 1, Alex Finke makes her Broadway debut in the role of Cosette, succeeding Samantha Hill.

The second UK tour of MARY POPPINS has found its leading lady! The Daily Mail writes that Zizi Strallen will take on the title role in the production, which kicks off at the Leicester Curve on October 13, 2015. Strallen will be joined onstage by Matt Lee as 'Bert'.

Boe begins performances in Les Miserables Tuesday, September 1. Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo will give his final performance as Valjean on Sunday, August 30. Boe made his Broadway debut as Rodolfo in Baz Luhrmann's acclaimed production La Boheme, for which he and his co-stars received a special Tony Award in 2003 for their performances.

Acclaimed British actor Earl Carpenter will return to the role of Javert in Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES beginning Tuesday, May 12 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Will Swenson will give his final performance as Javert Sunday, May 10. Carpenter performed the role on Broadway last summer while Swenson was on hiatus from the production for another project.
LES MISERABLES returns to Sydney with a reworked score, new music and reimagined staging, earning a standing ovation from the Opening Night Audience. Whilst many fans of the classic musical will be familiar with the 1985 original, they will not be disappointed with the new treatment and the wonderful Australian cast.
