Scarlet Sky Productions' THE WORD to Premiere at CT's Bijou Theatre, 3/14-16

Scarlet Sky Productions has announced the theatrical release of its award-winning film, THE WORD, at The Bijou Theatre in Bridgeport, CT. The dramatic thriller stars Kevin O'Donnell in a breakout performance and two-time Tony award winner James Naughton. The premiere takes place March 14-16, 2014 with multiple screenings at The Bijou.

Now in its 16th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook will continue to expand its scope celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. 'Live From Lincoln Center,' the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot four of the first week's American Songbook concerts in The Allen Room: by James Naughton, Lawrence Brownlee, Jason Isbell, and Patina Miller. These performances will be broadcast nationally beginning in Spring 2014. In addition, American Songbook concerts taking place in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center will be live-streamed via http://watch.lincolncenter.org.

Theater Resources Unlimited to Host TRU Love Benefit, 11/17

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces a preliminary lineup of star performers, and a luminous array of theater notables including Andre Bishop, Terrence McNally and James Naughton, who will help celebrate three extraordinary people at the annual TRU Love Benefit, Honoring Friendship, Remembering Friends. The trio of TRU friends who will be remembered and honored are producer Randall Wreghitt (Little Women, Beauty Queen of Leenane, Grey Gardens, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Golda's Balcony, As Bees in Honey Drown, The Food Chain) who died unexpectedly at the age of 55 in May 2011, and will be posthumously remembered with the 2013 TRU Spirit of Theater Award; Michael Feingold, former critic with the Village Voice, who will receive the TRU Humanitarian Award for educating generations of theatergoers about the historical, social and cultural context of the shows he reviews; and TRU member and program director Patricia R. Klausner, who will be recognized and applauded with the TRU Entrepreneur Award for her ongoing dedication in both the not-for-profit and commercial producing arenas.

BORN FOR BROADWAY 4 Set for 54 Below Today

BORN FOR BROADWAY's fourth annual celebrity cabaret, featuring Broadway and TV stars donating their time and talent to raise money for paralysis-based organizations, will take place at 54 Below, 254 West 54th Street, tonight, September 30, 2013. Doors will open to the public at 8:45 PM with a 9:30 PM curtain.
