The Midtown International Theatre Festival returns for another summer of quality stage works, July 15 - August 6, 2017 at the WorkShop (312 W. 36th Street, NYC). New York's oldest continuing theater festival will present 100 plays in 23 days!

Now celebrating its 20th year, id Theater returns to McCall, Idaho with the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference, with events from June 8 to 17 at McCall's Alpine Playhouse. This will be the 17th year for the Conference, which will host nine playwrights from all corners of the United States whose work will be developed and presented to the public free of charge during the Conference.

Eastbound Theatre, a division of the Milford Arts Council, once again partners with Westport Community Theatre for a program of six original plays under the banner of "East/West PlayFest 2017".

Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) presents the 19th annual Boston Theater Marathon and the ninth year of The Warm-Up Laps. This year's Boston Theater Marathon features 50 ten-minute plays, written by 53 New England playwrights, and produced by 50 New England theatres in ten hours.

The Community College of Rhode Island conclude their 2016-2017 season with Some Ten Words Long, a program of six student-directed ten-minute plays. Performances will be presented at the Liston Campus, 1 Hilton St. in Providence, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 20, 21, and 22 at 7:30 P.M., and on Saturday and Sunday, April 22 and 23, at 2 P.M.

Fresh Ink Theatre presents Don't Give Up The Ship by Laura Neill and directed by Joshua Glenn-Kayden, February 10-25, 2017 at the Plaza Blackbox at the Boston Center for the Arts.

AstonRep Theatre Company is pleased to present its 8th annual WRITER'S SERIES, a daylong festival of staged readings of developmental works by local and regional writers. Theatre of NOTE continues its 2016 season with the west coast premiere of D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH by Jerry Lieblich and directed by Doug Oliphant. D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH will open on Thursday, August 11 and run through Saturday, September 17 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

Playwright Erik Champney looks at the extremes people will go to in the name of self-preservation with Blankets and Bedtime: 3 Restless Plays, three one-act works where the truth can be the most unwelcome element of all.  Presented by Pixie Theory Productions, and directed by Janet Bentley, the show will be performed beginning June 15 at the Downstairs Theater at The Paradise Factory, located at 64 East 4th Street, as part of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The press is invited to all performances.

New Repertory Theatre announces the Next Voices Festival: New Play Readings, featuring the work of Lila Rose Kaplan, Walt McGough, James McLindon, and Cassie M.
