Due to a critical illness in her family, Casey Husion has withdrawn from directing Something's Afoot at the Goodspeed Opera House. Vince Pesce, originally choreographer of the production, will now also direct the show. During the planning process, Ms. Hushion, who conceived this production, worked closely with Mr. Pesce as she consulted with the authors, chose the creative team and cast the show. Everyone in the Goodspeed family wishes the best to Ms. Hushion and her family while we welcome Mr. Pesce as director.

Goodspeed Musicals, under the leadership of Executive Director Michael P. Price, has announced the 2012 musical season at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn.
According to published reports, Goodspeed Musicals will bring back Something's Afoot, which played the opera house in 1973. The musical will be the third in the 2012 season, and is set to open October 24. Cast ing has not yet been announced.
Audiences now have two additional weeks to experience the humor and high jinks of Something's Afoot. Taproot Theatre Company has extended the run through August 27.
