LORD OF THE DANCE: DANGEROUS GAMES Announces Full Cast - James Keegan, Sophie Evans and More!

The principal cast for Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games at London's Playhouse Theatre has been announced. The role of the Lord of the Dance will be played by James Keegan, Morgan Comer and brothers Cathal and Fergal Keaney, who have all been hand-picked and directed by Michael Flatley.  All four have won multiple World Irish Dancing Championship titles. Sophie Evans and Rachael O'Connor will share the role of Erin the Goddess.

Following an acclaimed sold-out run in London, Live Nation and Michael Flatley present the Broadway and New York premiere of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, created, directed by and starring international sensation Michael Flatley in what will serve as his swan song as a performer, celebrating his Broadway debut with the 20th Anniversary of Flatley's Lord of the Dance global enterprise.

Michael Flatley will be returning to the world's most successful dance show, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, at London's Dominion Theatre to appear on Friday and Saturday evenings only from tonight 8 May to 27 June inclusive. He wanted to come back and give these extra performances, as he had to cancel several appearances when his father passed away in March.

Michael Flatley's Father Has Died

Michael Flatley's father, Michael James Flatley, passed away in Chicago yesterday, Friday 13 March, the opening night of Flatley's farewell performances of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games at the Dominion Theatre in London.

Due to popular demand, following a sold-out run at the London Palladium, Michael Flatley's Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games, will transfer to the Dominion Theatre next year, running for six months from 9 March 2015. Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games had its West End premiere at the legendary London Palladium in early September with an exclusive and limited run, featuring Michael Flatley in his final West End performances. The show has its final performance this Saturday 25 October, ahead of a World Tour.

PICT Theatre Stages A SKULL IN CONNEMARA, Now thru 9/28

PICT Theatre's fifth production of the season is the Pittsburgh premiere of Martin McDonagh's hilarious whodunit A Skull in Connemara, one of a the Leenane trilogy of plays written by the contemporary Irish playwright. McDonagh's dark humor features the colloquial idioms of the west of Ireland, its rugged landscape, and its even more rugged people. McDonagh wrote one of PICT's most popular shows, The Lieutenant of Inishmore. His short film Six Shooter won an Academy Award in 2006, and he was nominated for an Oscar for best original screenplay for In Bruges, a feature-length film in which two hitmen hide in the Flemish city of Bruges after a problematic job.
