BBC America's original drama ORPHAN BLACK starring Tatiana Maslany in multiple roles, will return on April 18th. Below, check out an all-new trailer for the upcoming season.
BBC AMERICA, in association with Space and Temple Street Productions, announced casting additions to the new season of Orphan Black. Justin Chatwin (Shameless) and James Frain (Intruders) join the channel's hit original drama for its third season, which is currently in production and set to return in 2015.
We're at that point in the season, folks, when things on INTRUDERS are starting to piece themselves together. Next week's episode is the finale (how can this be?!) and the veil hiding Qui Reverti is slowly being lifted. More than plot progression, though, there's some serious character development going on this week, and it's awesome. All these developments can be a lot to handle, though. I get it. But the creative team has faith in us to follow along, and I have faith in us, too! Just in case things have gotten a little jumbled, let's break this thing down, character by character.
BBC AMERICA's new eight part paranormal thriller, Intruders, delivers the channel its biggest Supernatural Saturday series premiere ever in Live+3-Day, earning 1.223 million Total Viewers and 623,000 in A25-54. Its +77% growth among A25-54 over its Live+SD ranks ahead of the series premieres of both Atlantis (+38%) and Orphan Black (+29%). The series premiered on Saturday, August 23, 10:00pm ET and is the channel's second highest series premiere ever in Live+3-Day.
The verdict is in: BBC America has a hit on its hands with “Intruders.” The new paranormal sci-fi thriller, based off of the Michael Marshall Smith novel of the same name, wastes no time launching viewers into the action. While many genre shows (and at it's heart, “Intruders” is very much a genre show) overload audiences with difficult to follow plots and science references that fly over the heads of even the most educated viewers, Glen Morgan and his team manage to walk that fine line between over-complicated and painfully bland, creating an intelligently intricate show that encourages viewer participation…and that is also just plain fun to watch.
Production is underway in Vancouver British Columbia for BBC AMERICA's new original series Intruders, starring celebrated British actor John Simm and Oscar(R) winner Mira Sorvino.
