COMEDY CENTRAL, a division of Viacom Media Networks (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), announced today that the second annual 'The Comedy Awards' will return to New York City. The multi-platform, annual event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the world of comedy, will be taped at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, April 28, 2012 and will premiere on COMEDY CENTRAL on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

Today, Showtime Networks appointed Trisha Cardoso to serve in their top Communications post, as Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications, Showtime Networks Inc. The announcement was made by Matthew C. Blank, Chairman and CEO, Showtime Networks Inc., David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc. and Gil Schwartz, Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, CBS Corporation.

Antic Disposition will present a brand new production of The Tempest from Saturday 20th August to Saturday 3rd September 2011 at Middle Temple Hall, an Elizabethan venue in which Shakepeare's own company once performed. Set within the grounds of London's leafy legal quarter, the venue will offer theatregoers a unique chance to experience Shakespeare's famous play in a uniquely historic setting.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that DAVID WILSON BARNES (Second Stage's hit Becky Shaw), JUSTIN BARTHA (The Hangover, Broadway's Lend Me a Tenor), ANNA CAMP (Second Stage's The Scene, 'True Blood'), and KRYSTEN RITTER (Confessions of a Shopaholic, Second Stage's All This Intimacy) will appear in the world premiere comedy, ALL NEW PEOPLE, written by ZACH BRAFF and directed by PETER DuBOIS.
