Blue Note Jazz Festival has announced upcoming performances for June 15-18th for its LATE NIGHTS, BRUNCH & MONDAY NIGHT.

Today, June 5th Join Urban Latino Magazine as they host their Annual Music Issue Release event (issue #101). This exclusive soirée will be held at Rooftop 760, situated in the heart of New York's Time Square at 6pm. The talented and eclectic group, SI*SE will perform live, introducing their new single EP 'GO!.'

According to Variety, the 1996 documentary 'When We Were Kings' is being turned into a stage musical. Producers revealed that the show will feature musical from the film's soundtrack, which included songs by B.B. King, the Pointer Sisters, James Brown, and more. Writers for the project have not yet been anounced.

Including LE POÈME HARMONIQUE IN "VENEZIA," on opening night, eight intriguing composer portraits, featuring John Cage, Jonathan Harvey, Olga Neuwirth, Sofia Gubaidulina, Enno Poppe, Rebeecca Saunders, Oliver Knussen and Julio Estrada. Bach, Revisted, highlights innovators, baroque and modern alike, featuring Jennifer Koh teaming up with mentor Jaime Laredo, harpsichordist Kristian Bezuidenhout and Ensemble Signal playing Bach, Rebel and Michael Gordon, and pianist Christopher Taylor juxtaposing Bach and Rzewski.
