Adele Plans Comeback Concert at London's Royal Albert Hall

In 2011, Adele suffered from vocal problems and has since been unable to perform a full-length concert. According to Sunday Express, Adele is planning a comeback concert and she is eyeing London's Royal Albert Hall as the perfect venue.

Curio Theatre to Wrap Season with OEDIPUSSY, 4/24-5/24

Curio Theatre Company closes its season with the North American Premiere of Oedipussy, a creation of wildly inventive and hilarious United Kingdom based Spymonkey. Oedipussy is adapted by Emma Rice and written by Carl Grose and Spymokey. This fusion of James Bond and Greek tragedy begins previews April 24, opens Friday, May 2 at 8 p.m, and closes Saturday, May 24. All performances run Thursday-Saturday night at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $25-$20. Pierce Brosnan played James Bond in four movies. He ended his run in 2002 with Die Another Day, after which he was said to be too old to continue the role. According to Page Six, his run ended badly.

Daniel Craig Exits Courtroom Drama THE WHOLE TRUTH Days Before Filming

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Daniel Craig has left the upcoming courtroom drama THE WHOLE TRUTH just days before the project was scheduled to begin filming in Boston. The start date is reportedly being pushed back three weeks from April 14 to allow the producers time to find a replacement.

National Theatre Live to Broadcast MEDEA, Starring Helen McCrory, Sept 4

NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE has announced an international broadcast of the National Theatre of Great Britain's production of Euripides' Greek tragedy MEDEA, in a new version by Ben Power, directed by Carrie Cracknell and starring Helen McCrory in the title role. The production will be broadcast live from the National's Olivier Theatre on Thursday September 4 2014, with varying dates internationally and encore screenings to follow.

MGM Developing Live-Action/Animated PINK PANTHER Film

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) is developing for production a full-length hybrid animation and live-action feature film based on the animated 'Pink Panther' character, it was announced today by Gary Barber, chairman and CEO of MGM and Jonathan Glickman, president of the studio's motion picture group. Walter Mirisch, executive producer of the original 'Pink Panther' films and television series will serve as the producer of the new film, along with Academy Award®-winning actress, Julie Andrews, wife of the late director Blake Edwards. David Silverman ('The Simpsons Movie,' 'Monsters, Inc') will direct. The Pink Panther character originated a remarkable fifty years ago.

BWW Reviews: Ambitous New Cabaret Shows From SHANA FARR and JILLIAN LAURAIN Reach High But Fall Short

'A man's reach should exceed his grasp. Or what's a heaven for?' once wrote the poet Robert Browning. The line is about setting goals, striving, and ambition, all of which can be commendable desires. But sometimes in the world of cabaret, the desire to achieve the next level or to raise one's personal bar can be an overreach and overly ambitious. Such was the case with two shows staged this past week by two accomplished singers-Shana Farr and Jillian Laurain--who over the past couple of years have garnered mucho kudos for their vocal prowess and solid shows. Nobody could fault these lovely ladies for pushing their performance envelopes, but in both cases they fell short of their goals.
