Bearded Drag Queen Wins The Eurovision Song Contest

According to the Associated Press, Conchita Wurst, a bearded drag queen from Austria, won the 59th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Wurst made a James Bond inspired entrance and sang the power ballad Rise Like a Phoenix. She caused protests because of pushing the gender boundries, but she still managed to with with 290 points.

On this week's Top-6 edition of AMERICAN IDOL Season XIII, we were “treated” to not one, but two, songs by each competitor.
