On February 17th at 7:00 pm, Michele Helberg and Jamie McGonnigal will present a special one-night-only concert to benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation. The concert will take place at the Westside Theatre at 407 West 43rd Street, the current home of the long-running off-Broadway hit, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

ight Records founder Kurt Deutsch will gather the all-star cast of the recent Actors Fund of American benefit concert of the Galt MacDermont-Gerome Ragni-James Radio musical HAIR for a marathon all-day recording session on Friday, October 1. The recording, to be produced by Deutsch and Joel Moss, will feature the complete score and original orchestrations of the classic '60's musical. Benefit producer and musical director Seth Rudetsky will conduct the recording.
Currently scheduled to appear: Bryan Batt, Laura Benanti, Laura Bell Bundy, Matt Cavenaugh, Melissa Errico, Cheyenne Jackson, Michael McKean, Raymond McLeod, Larry O'Keefe, Michele Pawk, Erin Leigh Peck, Billy Porter, Alice Ripley, Jai Rodriguez, Marc Shaiman, Toxic Audio, Eddie Varley, and also featuring appearances and new music by Scott Alan, Neil Berg and Brian Lowdermilk, all hosted by Scott Nevins. Broadway Bares 14: Now Showing, took place on June 20th at the Roseland Ballroom. This year's event had a Hollywood theme, and featured over 200 performers strutting their stuff (and then taking it off) for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The 49th Annual Drama Desk Awards took place on May 16th at Lincoln Center's LaGuardia Concert Hall. Nominees and Broadway stars alike came out in full force and BroadwayWorld was there to capture it all.
