There is a new airdate for the 'AMERICAN MASTERS' Jerome Robbins film on PBS, Wednesday, February 18th 2009 at 9pm. PBS' AMERICAN MASTERS presents the highly anticipated profile on the complex king of ballet and Broadway, Jerome Robbins. It will be the first-ever and only documentary on the preeminent choreographer. 'Jerome Robbins: Something to Dance About' is by Judy Kinberg and written by best-selling Robbins biographer Amanda Vaill.

Carolyn d'Amboise, Photographer and Dancer Passes Away at 81

Former ballet and Broadway dancer Carolyn George D'Amboise has passed away at the age of 81. The stage star passed away at the Manhattan home she shared with her husband, New York City Ballet star Jacques d'Amboise, on Tuesday after a long struggle with primary lateral sclerosis, a rare neuromuscular disease.

And on Friday, February 13, two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise steps back into the role of Roxie Hart on Broadway, prior to headlining the upcoming engagement of the CHICAGO National Tour at Chicago's Ford Center for the Performing Arts (February 26 - March 8).

CHICAGO Welcomes Back d'Amboise, Hewitt Joins Company on 11/3

On Monday, November 3, the Broadway company of the record-The breaking worldwide musical smash CHICAGO is pleased to welcome back two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as merry murderess Roxie Hart. The production will also welcome Broadway favorite and Tony Award nominee Tom Hewitt in the role of 'that silver-tongued prince of the courtroom,' the slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn.

Sher, Yazbek and Hwang Team Up For Broadway's 'Bruce Lee'

Bartlett Sher, who has received great acclaim as well as a Tony nomination and Drama Desk Award as Best Director of A Musical for the current Lincoln Center Theater production of South Pacific, will direct the new musical BRUCE LEE: JOURNEY TO THE WEST, to be produced on Broadway by Elephant Eye Theatrical. Joining Sher are Tony nominees David Yazbek (The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) composing the music and writing the lyrics and David Henry Hwang (M Butterfly, Yellow Face) penning the book.

Damien Woetzel Joins Astaire Awards Committee

Damien Woetzel acclaimed choreographer and Principal Dancer with the New York City Ballet has joined the nominating committee for the 2008 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards honoring excellence in dance on stage and on film. He replaces Jacques D'Amboise who had to withdraw due to an illness in his family.

Tommy Tune to Receive 2008 Fred & Adele Astaire Award

The 2008 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards recognizing excellence in dance on both stage and film have announced that nine time Tony Award & two time Astaire Award winner Tommy Tune will receive the 2008 Fred & Adele Astaire Lifetime Achievement at the awards gala slate for June 2, 2008
