Carrie Brewer's fiery portrayal of the man who would ultimately become King Henry IV is certain to resonate with audiences for the compelling production of William Shakespeare's Richard II - onstage at Shamblin Theatre through April 23 in a joint production from Nashville Shakespeare Festival and Lipscomb University Theatre - especially in contrast to Caroline Amos' highly theatrical portrayal of the eponymous king whose indecision and lack of personal gravitas results in his ultimate demise.

Opening May 3, 2017, Demisch Danant will present Innovation: made in France II, an exhibition of important historical French design created between 1965 to 1975, a period of rapid technological advancement that shaped a distinctive new aesthetic in French public and domestic life. Innovation is a continuation of the gallery's year-long exhibition program made in France, which reintroduces designers from the post-war period and brings to light the importance of their work.

People's Light leads a cohort of six professional area theatres in expanding the availability of Relaxed Performances (RPs) in the region. The six-member cohort - Delaware Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre Center, Montgomery Theater, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, People's Light, and Theatre Horizon - will address accessibility and inclusivity needs by offering 10-12 Relaxed Performances over the next two years.
