This production will also mark the continuation of Lakewood's year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Lakewood Playhouse Theatre. From TAMING OF THE SHREW in its first year to AVENUE Q at the end of this season, Lakewood will have presented over 300 productions at this venue, which was first built in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation.
