FHCT Presents A CAROL FOR TINY TIM, 12/3-19

'A Carol for Tiny Tim' This warm and wonderful play written by John R. Carroll takes place 15 years after old Scrooge's miraculous transformation as he continues to honor Christmas in his heart. Jacob Marley has once again called the three Spirits of Christmas to reconvene. This time, however, it is the grown-up Tiny Tim who needs their holiday help. Now a spoiled young man, he uses his past infirmity as his crutch to collect sympathy and money from family and friends. Jacob feels a visit by the spirits of Christmas Present, Past, and Future is just what Tim needs to learn how to truly stand on his own two feet.

The 33rd annual production of A Christmas Carol at Theatre Memphis is getting a facelift. After more than three decades of performing on the original set (designed Jay Ehrlicher and Elinor Hawkins) the 2010 cast will be scurrying around on a new set that current resident scenic designer at Theatre Memphis, Christopher McCollum, has partnered with returning director Jason Spitzer to re-envision the traditional holiday classic.

Anthony Rodriguez is back for a fourth year with his compelling solo performance of the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. Not unlike the way Charles Dickens performed his story in Victorian England, Mr. Rodriguez focuses on the classic art of storytelling. John Treacy Egan will star as Ebeneezer Scrooge in A SLEEPY HOLLOW CHRISTMAS CAROL. Egan's SCROOGE will take on Washington Irving's characters, when he stars in this enchanting musical which is set in the town of Sleepy Hollow, New York in 1900. A new twist on an old classic, It weaves the magic of the Charles Dickens classic with the delightful characters from Washington Irving's vivid imagination and tells the tale of a Sleepy Hollow businessman, Ebenezer Scrooge, who had no love in his heart for his fellow man, especially at Christmastime. Scrooge meets Washington Irving who takes him on a redemptive adventure to his past, present and future where he meets his boyhood self and such characters as Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel, Jacob Marley, Tiny Tim and several other surprising encounters. El Dorado Musical Theater's A CHRISTMAS CAROL Ends Run 12/5

Called by The New York Times 'a tonic for adults, and for children a transfixing journey,' this spectacular musical extravaganza ran for ten years at Madison Square Garden, complete with falling snow, exuberant dances by famed choreographer Susan Stroman, flying ghosts and a magnificent set which recreated the streets, graveyards, homes and buildings of Dickensian, London.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL Comes to Weinberg Center, 12/17-19

For over 15 years the Maryland Ensemble Theatre and The Fun Company (the MET's family theatre) have delighted audiences with Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. The MET's annual production at the Weinberg Center for the Arts has become a holiday family tradition in downtown Frederick. This adaptation stays true to Dickens' novel with the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future calling on the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve.
