British Museum Hosts Major UK Exhibition on South African Art, SOUTH AFRICA: THE ART OF A NATION, Oct. 27

This autumn the British Museum will host the first major UK exhibition on South African art that explores a 100,000 history through archaeological, historic and contemporary artworks, which look at the long and rich artistic heritage of the country. South Africa: the art of a nation is sponsored by Jack and Betsy Ryan and will use art to tell the story of the region's deep history, the colonial period, apartheid, the birth of the 'rainbow nation' and South Africa today. Objects from the British Museum's own South African collections will be displayed alongside contemporary acquisitions. There will also be significant loans in the exhibition, including objects coming to the UK for the very first time, thanks to the exhibition's logistics partner IAG Cargo.

Rose Theatre Kingston today announced the full company for its new production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Award-winning Michael Rudman directs David Horovitch as Joe Keller and Penny Downie as Kate Keller with Alex Waldmann (Chris Keller), Grace Carter (Lydia Lubey), Edward Harrison (George Deever), William Meredith (Frank Lubey), Alison Pargeter (Sue Bayliss), David Partridge (Jim Bayliss) and Francesca Zoutewelle (Ann Deever). The production opens on 2 November, with previews from 28 October, and runs until 19 November.

The Wilma Theater, William Way LGBT Community, Philadelphia Fight and More Team Up to Provide Community Spaces for #PHILLY4PULSE

On June 14, 2016, owners and representatives from some of the Philadelphia's most popular LGBTQ bars and clubs along with the William Way Community Center, announced a huge historic fundraiser, PHILLY4PULSE, to support victims of the recent attacks at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub. The community is producing a one night massive event for the victims and families of Pulse Nightclub on July 21, 2016. The William Way LGBT Community Center has released additional details about their portion of PHILLY4PULSE, as well as additional community partners.
Skydance Television to Develop FASTER THAN LIGHT

Skydance Television today announced that it will develop Faster Than Light, the best-selling augmented reality comic series that tells the story of humanity's first thrilling and terrifying adventures to the stars, set in the present day. Curtain Call has announced the publication of their inaugural book, which boasts never before seen photography from nearly 60 London theatre productions in 2015/16. CURTAIN CALL: A YEAR BACKSTAGE IN LONDON THEATRE, created by photographer Matt Humphrey and actor/director John Schwab, features an extraordinary collection of fly-on-the-wall backstage images, offering glimpses of big names like Benedict Cumberbatch, Nicole Kidman, Mark Rylance, Imelda Staunton, Kristin Scott Thomas, Mark Strong and Damian Lewis.
