On November 7 and 8 (9:30PM), director extraordinaire Jack O'Brien will bring his new show to 54 Below, titled 'I've Still Got My Health, So What Do I Care?' Come join O'Brien for a Diamond Jubilee Celebration of a life lived on and off the stage. Tales from Hamlet to Hairspray. Selections from Cole Porter to James Taylor. Will IT'S ONLY A PLAY GET Extended Run at Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre? Martin Short to Replace Nathan Lane?

The star-studded Broadway production of the backstage comedy It's Only A Play, by 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, is officially set to run through January 4 at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), but could it stick around a little longer? As first rumored on BroadwayWorld.com's message board, and then picked up elsewhere as news, rumors are flying around the rialto today that the show might transfer to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre when THE AUDIENCE moves into the Schoenfeld early next year.

Winners of Joffrey Ballet's Choreographers of Color Award Announced

The Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet, announces the winners of the fifth annual Choreographers of Color Award: Jennifer Archibald, Abdul Latif and Stephanie Martinez. This announcement follows a national call for artists to submit applications, which began in July.

John Guare Writes New Play BETWEEN to Mark Rockwell Group's 30th Anniversary; Premiere Set for 11/3

John Guare has written a new play commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Rockwell Group. Between, a new 10-minute play, will have its world premiere performance on Monday, November 3 at NeueHouse at an event celebrating the launch of the forthcoming book, What If… ?: The Architecture and Design of David Rockwell. Jack O'Brien directs the performance, which will star Stockard Channing and Mr. Guare himself. The full text of the play is included in the new book.

Burke Moses to Star in 'THE GRINCH' at The Old Globe; Full Cast, Creatives Announced!

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's 17th annual production ofDr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The holiday musical will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre,part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, November 15 - December 27. Previews run from November 15 - November 19. Opening night is November 20 at 7:00 p.m.
