The Spotlighters Theatre's psychological thriller 'Gaslight' will close on February 14, 2010.

Due to 'Snowmagedden' this past weekend, Gaslight has been extended. Spotlighters Theatre will present two additional performances: Sunday, February 21 at 2pm and 7pm.

Some missing rubies, a 15-year-old unsolved murder, a Columbo-esque detective, and a woman either going out of or being driven from her mind set the stage a (gas)light as Patrick Hamilton's GASLIGHT comes to Baltimore's Spotlighters Theatre.

Jack Manning, Broadway, film and television star died of natural causes at his home in Rancho Palos Verdes on August 31. He was 93 years old.

This classic thriller, set in Victorian London, was first produced in 1938 and later filmed twice, in Britain and in the USA. Ingrid Bergman won an Oscar for her portrayal of Bella Manningham in the latter version. Jack Manningham is slowly, deliberately, driving his wife, Bella, insane. He has almost succeeded when help arrives in the form of a former detective, Rough, who believes Manningham to be a thief and murderer. Aided by Bella, Rough proves Manningham's true identity and finally Bella achieves a few moments of sweet revenge for the suffering inflicted on her.
