Private by-invitation-only industry readings for the acclaimed London hit The Mikvah Project by Josh Azouz will take place Monday, March 20th at 5:30pm and Tuesday, March 21st at 12:30pm at the appropriate venue, The Actors Temple (339 West 47th Street, between 8th and 9th avenues). The 2nd Annual Asian World Film Festival, which runs from October 24 to November 1 in Culver City, is hosting the Asian World Industry Forum, which will include five panels featuring industry leaders as moderators and panelists.

AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of the musical based on the iconic novel by Bret Easton Ellis announces that it will play its final performance on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. At the time of its closing, AMERICAN PSYCHO will have played a total of 81 performances. AMERICAN PSYCHO is currently playing on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

Veteran independent film distributor Richard Abramowitz announced that his company Abramorama, will release LUCKY STIFF in New York City today, July 24th. The Orchard will compliment the theatrical release by making the film available to all U.S. and Canadian cable, satellite and digital platforms for a simultaneous day and date release.

Authors include composer Lucy Simon (The Secret Garden), lyricists Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) and Amy Powers (the two multi-platinum Sunset Boulevard hits) and book writer Michael Weller (screenwriter for Hair and Ragtime).
