The Flea's STUDENT BODY Begins Performances Next Month

The Flea Theater presents the world premiere of Frank Winters' Student Body, directed by Michelle Tattenbaum (Love/Stories, Nobody Loves You) and featuring members of The Bats, the Flea's resident acting company. Previews start October 1, with opening night slated for Sunday, October 11.

The PIT to Offer KAPOW-I GOGO Marathon, 5/24

Kapow-i GoGo is a theatrical experience built for an audience used to binge-watching Netflix. Continuing its buzzy run at The PIT, Kapow-I GoGo will do a hyper-marathon of all three parts - 9 episodes - almost 4 hours of content - on Sunday May 24th at 1pm. Intermissions will be plentiful, don't worry. The PIT's Love Bar is just outside the door to the theater, fully stocked and with Kapow-I Specialty drinks all afternoon. (Try the Kapow-i SuperPunch! or sample some free sugary breakfast cereal!).

The Flea Theater presents Pod 2 of their terrifying 4 part theatrical event - THE CUTTHROAT SERIES: GRAND GUIGNOL DUELS beginning October 14. These turn of the century French plays alternate between ghastly horrors and carnal comedies to create a gripping, deplorable evening of theater. To add to that thrill, audience members will vote on their favorite play from each of the four pods (titled GORE, CRUELTY, NIGHT TERROR, and LUST) and the winners will return for an extended run in January. The winner from GORE was TICS, OR DOING THE DEED.

This play about friendship, class and where loyalty has its limits is directed by Flea Resident Director Kel Haney and features members of The Bats. This play about friendship, class and where loyalty has its limits will be directed by Flea Resident Director Kel Haney and feature members of The Bats.
