The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, a new play by Tony® Award-nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), have announced that performances through April 29th are $99 (orchestra and front mezzanine) and $59 (mezzanine), when purchased by the first preview on Wednesday, March 28th.
Kevin Spacey, currently starring in The Bridge Project's Richard III at BAM, will be a guest on "Theater Talk" on Friday February 3 at 1 AM on Channel 13 in New York. "Theater Talk" subsequently airs on CUNY TV on Saturday February 4 at 8:30 PM; Sunday February 5 at 12:30 PM; and Monday February 6 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. "Theater Talk" is hosted by The New York Post's Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins.

BAM has just announced its full 2012 line-up, according to the NY Times, which is set to include the previously reported RICHARD III led by Kevin Spacey. Also included in the winter/spring season are Jonathan Bates' BEING SHAKESPEARE, starring starring Simon Callow; Harold Pinter's THE CARETAKER, starring Jonathan Pryce; John Ford's TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE; and Anton Chekhov's THREE SISTERS.
On June 29, 2011, The Bridge Project opened Richard III starring The Old Vic Artistic Director Kevin Spacey at The Old Vic in London. The production will embark on an international tour including the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Spain's Centro Niemeyer, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Singapore Repertory Theatre, arriving at BAM's Harvey Theater in New York in January 2012. Actors' Equity Association (Equity) announced today that The Public Theater's acclaimed production of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE is the recipient of its Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2010-2011 Season. The Award will be presented at a reception at the Equity headquarters in New York City on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. In addition, Equity will receive a Mayoral Proclamation, presented by Commissioner Katherine Oliver, designating June 7th as Diversity on Broadway Day.
The full company is announced for the final season of The Bridge Project featuring Kevin Spacey, artistic director of The Old Vic, in the title role of Richard III. The Bridge Project will open at The Old Vic in London on June 29, 2011 and then embark on an international tour including the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Spain's Centro Niemeyer, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Singapore Repertory Theatre, arriving at BAM's Harvey Theater in New York in January 2012. Further international tour dates to be announced shortly.
The Public Theater's acclaimed production of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, starring Al Pacino as Shylock and Lily Rabe as Portia, will conclude its successful Broadway run on Sunday, February 20 at the Broadhurst Theatre. The critically lauded production began at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park last summer and officially opened on Broadway on November 13. It recouped its capitalization after only 10 weeks and will be making its first profit distribution to investors next week.
