Michael S. Rosenberg Appointed As La Jolla Playhouse Managing Director

The Board of Trustees of La Jolla Playhouse announces the appointment of Michael S. Rosenberg as the Playhouse's new Managing Director. A veteran producer in both the not-for-profit and commercial theatre worlds, Rosenberg will begin full time duties on May 4, 2009.

La Jolla Names MOXIE Theater As 2009/2010 Resident Theater Company

La Jolla Playhouse is proud to announce its 2009/2010 resident theatre company: MOXIE Theatre. 39 Steps Replaces Hudsucker Proxy and Other Updates Announced for La Jolla Playhouse Season

La Jolla Playhouse announces updates to its 2009/2010 season. Alfred Hitchcock?s The 39 Steps, based on the beloved Alfred Hitchcock thriller, adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow, directed by Maria Aitken, will replace the previously-announced Page-to-Stage production of The Hudsucker Proxy. The 39 Steps will run August 11 ? September 13 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

La Jolla Playhouse is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative, the Resident Theatre Program and welcome Mo'olelo Performing Arts Company as its very first Resident Theatre Company.
