Award-winning writer and actor John Leguizamo hits the road this summer with his brand new show, John Leguizamo LIVE! Launching Friday, July 10 at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT, this tour will land in a new city each week, continuing through Fall 2009 (initial dates and venues listed below).

The Third Annual Icicle Creek Theatre Festival (ICTF), based in Leavenworth, will re-mount two new works exclusively for Seattle audiences. The Central Heating Lab at ACT is thrilled to host staged readings of HIM by Daisy Foote on August 17, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. and The Jewel in the Manuscript by Rosemary Zibart on August 18, 2009 at 7:30 pm. Lipuma announce the World Premiere of A Minister's Wife, a new musical adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Candida, conceived and directed by Michael Halberstam with musical direction by Richard Casey. A Minister's Wife was adapted by Austin Pendleton with music by Joshua Schmidt and lyrics by Jan Tranen.

The Cleveland Play House Artistic Director Michael Bloom announces the world premiere production of Thornton Wilder's novel Heaven's My Destination, adapted by award-winning playwright Lee Blessing. The play is the centerpiece of the fourth annual FusionFest, a multidisciplinary performing arts festival.

Jessica L. Andrews has announced that she is stepping down from her role as Arizona Theatre Company?s Executive Director at the close of the 2008-2009 Season. Jessica Andrews will continue to work with Arizona Theatre Company on a consultant basis, contributing to ATC?s short and long-term goals. Kevin E. Moore will continue to serve as Arizona Theatre Company?s Managing Director, working closely with Artistic Director David Ira Goldstein.

Michael Donald Edwards, Asolo Repertory Theatre's producing artistic director, announced today his selections for the 2009-2010 season of plays, his fourth season with the company.
