The production is directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli and will run January 28 - February 28, 2010 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron Street, Chicago. Press Opening is to be determined.

Shakespeare Festival St. Louis Announces Jim Butz to Play Lead in HAMLET Opening May 26th

Jim Butz, Kevin Kline Award-winner, will play the doomed Prince of Denmark in Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' production of HAMLET, set to open May 26th in Shakespeare Glen, Forest Park. Butz, brother of Tony Award-winner Norbert Leo Butz, is a St. Louis native, and was previously seen at the Festival as Mark Antony in JULIUS CAESAR. Bruce Longworth directs Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' 10th anniversary Shakespeare production, free to the public in Forest Park. Complete casting will be announced in early February.

The Theater for the New City and The Harlem Repertory Theatre will present a modern adaptation of 'Flahooley' by E.Y. Harburg, Fred Saidy and Sammy Fain, to be staged from December 18 to January 3 at the Theatre for the New City. This classic musical tells of a misbegotten toymaker during the McCarthy madness.

Mychael Rambo and Lou Bellamy, directed by Dominic Taylor, with musical direction by Sanford Moore on Thursday, December 3, 2009. The production will run December 3 - December 27, 2009.

SAN DIEGO REPERTORY THEATRE will presents THE SEAFARER, the comic-drama that has become a holiday hit on American stages across the country since its Broadway debut in 2007. Directed by DELICIA TURNER SONNENBERG, this rousing drama recounts the story of four lifelong friends who get together on Christmas Eve and end up making a bet with the devil in disguise. Performances begin in previews on Saturday, November 14, 2009, with an Opening Night performance on Friday, November 20 at 8pm and continue through December 13, 2009 at The Lyceum Theatre.
