The Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) television event is set to air live and commercial-free on FOX, September 10, 2010, at 8 p.m. EST & PST / 7 p.m. CST. Joining ABC, CBS and NBC, FOX will donate one hour of live simultaneous commercial-free primetime for the nationally televised September 10th fundraising special, to be broadcast from Los Angeles. NBC News will be combining its communications, marketing and promotion arms into one department, NBC News Marketing and Communications. Nightly News was retitled on Wednesday due to pre-emptions in western markets for coverage of the NHL Finals. World News was coded as a breakout on both Tuesday and Thursday due to coverage of the NBA Finals. Season-to-date, "Nightly" leads "World News" by +1.083 million total viewers.

During the week, 'Nightly' saw 7.672 million total viewers, +754,000 more than ABC 'World News,' 6.918 million and +2.561 million more than CBS 'Evening News' 5.111 million. All three newscasts were labeled as specials on Monday for the Memorial Day holiday and are not included in the weekly or season average. Additionally, ABC 'World News' was retitled on Thursday due to preemptions in western markets for coverage for the NBA Finals.
