Quick Curtains, a collection of five one-act plays by Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, William Inge and Percival Wilde will perform November 13th through 17th at the Hudson Guild Theater. Quick Curtains closes out the ten year anniversary season for The Group Theatre Too (Michael Blevins, Artistic Director; Justin Boccitto, Executive Producer). Five directors have been chosen for every one-act, each casting and rehearsing five groups of actors.

The Handel and Haydn Society (H&H), led by Artistic Director Harry Christophers, opens a musical celebration of the holiday season with its 160th annual performances of George Frideric Handel's masterpiece Messiah, November 29-December 1, 2013, at Symphony Hall. The celebration continues with A Bach Christmas, an intimate program of Baroque music; and Holiday Sing, a participatory family program of carols and choral music for the season.

Jerry Ruiz (Love Goes to Press, Basilica) directs a cast that includes Cliff Bemis, Teddy Bergman, Bernardo Cubria, Carole Healey, Christine Toy Johnson, Kathryn Kates (replacing the previously announced Jennifer Harmon), Natalie Kuhn, Brian MacDonald, Jennifer McVey and Rachel Moulton. Philip Goes Forth will have scenic design by Steven C. Kemp, costume design by Carisa Kelly, lighting design by Christian DeAngelis, and sound design by Toby Algya. Performances began on August 24th and continue through October 20th. Opening Night is set for tonight, September 22nd at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street). The Handel and Haydn Society (H&H), led by Artistic Director Harry Christophers, opens the 2013-2014 season on September 27 and 29 with performances of J.S. Bach's choral masterpiece, Mass in B Minor. The 2013-2014 Season is marked by historically significant works that the Handel and Haydn Society introduced to American audiences in the 19th century, presented in anticipation of the H&H's Bicentennial celebration in 2015. Repertoire on the season is also intended to reveal the outstanding range of H&H's musical forces, from the youngest performers to the renowned professional chorus and period-instrument orchestra. A collection of prominent conductors and guest artists joins Handel and Haydn throughout the season.

Breaking Glass Pictures has announced the nationwide release of Silver Case, starring Oscar nominee Eric Roberts, Claire Falconer, Brian Keith Gamble, Chris Facey, Seymour Cassel, Shalim Ortiz, Vincent DePaul and Brad Light. The film premiered on broadcast VOD on April 15th, and is released today, May 21st on DVD. Silver Case is the debut feature of award-winning Italian director Christian Filippella.
