Performances of Boston Playwrights' Theatre's (BPT) Elemeno Pea begin next week.

WP Theater, by special arrangement with Segal NYC Productions, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of What We're Up Against, written by Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, Seminar, NBC's 'Smash'), directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Dry Land, Empathitrax).

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the second round of the 2017 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards.

Playwrights Phaedra Scott of Boston and Emily Schwend of Somerville have been selected from among 45 applicants to develop an original Boston-centric play as part of SpeakEasy Stage Company's returning new works initiative The Boston Project.

The Old Globe today announced the additional productions in its 2018 Summer Season, including the classic Neil Simon comedy Barefoot in the Park directed by Jessica Stone (Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood!, Arms and the Man, and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Globe), which will run July 28 - August 26, 2018.
