Roundabout Welcomes Six New Members to Teaching Artist Roster

Roundabout Theatre Company and Education at Roundabout have announced six new members of Roundabout's Teaching Artist roster: Bob Franklin, Kent Jackson, David Kaplan, Yolanda Ramsay, Annie Wiegand and Haydee Zelideth.

Openings Start Monday Night For The Pool At The Flea Theater

The Pool, a pop-up theater company, will present three new plays in rotating rep from November 15 - December 16, 2017 in a limited 5-week engagement at The Flea Theater's brand-new Tribeca home, located at 20 Thomas Street. The plays are Susan Bernfield's TANIA IN THE GETAWAY VAN directed by Portia Krieger, Peter Gil-Sheridan's THE RAFA PLAY directed by Morgan Gould, and Lynn Rosen's WASHED UP ON THE POTOMAC directed by Jos Zayas.

Yale Rep to Present Nambi E. Kelley's Stage Adaptation of NATIVE SON

Yale Repertory Theatre presents NATIVE SON, the critically acclaimed new play by Nambi E. Kelley adapted from the iconic American novel by Richard Wright, directed by Seret Scott, November 24 December 16 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, November 30.

BWW Review: Moonbox Ascends THE 39 STEPS

Moonbox Productions requires you to use your imagination, but you will be duly rewarded thanks to the talents of Director Allison Olivia Choat, her crew, and the four-person cast of THE 39 STEPS. THE HUMANS Adds Performances at Artists Rep

Artists Rep presents the 2016 Tony Award winner for Best New Play The Humans, by Stephen Karam, directed by D maso Rodr guez from November 19 through December 17 on the theatre's intimate Morrison Stage. Artists Rep is one of the first regional theatres in the nation to produce The Humans featuring a local cast and design team.

BWW Review: TARTUFFE: Satiric Verses

Moli re's TARTUFFE, as translated by Ranjit Bolt, is directed by Huntington Theatre Company's Artistic Director Peter DuBois and features an accomplished cast, led by Frank Wood and Brett Gelman. The story of a charlatan getting the better of a fool, despite the misgivings and warnings of his family, the dialogue is delivered in rhyming couplets, or what I refer to as satiric verses.

DRAW THE CIRCLE Joins an Unforgettable Repertory at Mosaic Theater Company

The fourth production of Mosaic Theater Company's third season will be Draw the Circle, a solo show written by and starring Mashuq Mushtaq Deen and directed by acclaimed writer-director-producer, Chay Yew (most recently, director of Oedipus El Rey at The Public Theater).

Special Events Announced in Conjunction with The Huntington's Production of TARTUFFE

In conjunction with its current production of Tartuffe, Huntington Theatre Company will host several special events and post-show conversations. Admission to onsite post-show events is free with a ticket to Tartuffe, available at huntingtontheatre.org/tartuffe, by phone at 617 266 0800, or in person at the Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue) and Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA (527 Tremont Street) box offices. Tickets start at $25. Performances run through December 10, 2017 at the Avenue of the Arts / Huntington Avenue Theatre.

AS YOU LIKE IT Headlines Shakespeare & Company's 2018 Shakespeare Lineup

Shakespeare & Company has announced its Shakespeare lineup for the 2018 summer season. Under the direction of Artistic Director Allyn Burrows and Managing Director Adam Davis, the season will include three Shakespeare plays: Macbeth directed by Melia Bensussen, As You Like It directed by Allyn Burrows, and Love's Labor's Lost directed by Kelly Galvin. Season FLEXPasses go on sale this afternoon.

Theresa Rebeck's WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST Opens Tonight at WP Theater

WP Theater, by special arrangement with Segal NYC Productions, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of What We're Up Against, written by Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, Seminar, NBC's 'Smash'), directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Dry Land, Empathitrax).

Michael Urie-Led HAMLET Finds Full Cast at Shakespeare Theatre Company

The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) announces the cast and creative team for Hamlet, directed by STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn and featuring acclaimed actor Michael Urie as the tortured Danish prince. Shakespeare's most celebrated tragedy will run January 16-February 25, 2018 at Sidney Harman Hall.
