Carnegie Theatre Series Presents UNDER A RED MOON, 11/2 - 11/18

Human Race Theatre's 26th Season Opens with MANAGING MAXINE, 9/6

The Human Race Theatre Company kicks off its 2012-2013 Season with Janece Shaffer's Managing Maxine, an unlikely love story with an unconventional heroine featuring Broadway actress Jana Robbins as Maxine and television veteran Steve Vinovich as Arthur.

Amanda Taraska: DOIN' MY THING Plays the Laurie Beechman Tonight, 6/25

With her bright and beautiful belt, brilliant, quirky singer-songwriter, Amanda Taraska will present her first solo show at Manhattan's acclaimed Laurie Beechman Theatre. The hour-long concert, featuring musical direction by Wicked's Walter Thompson, will showcase original work by up-and-coming writers Nick Blaemire, Jeff Bowen, Rob Hartmann, Natalie Lovejoy, Robby Sandler and Daniel Green, Dustin Sullivan and Elyssa Samsel, and David Alan Thornton and by beloved musical theatre luminaries Jason Robert Brown, Pasek and Paul, and Stephen Sondheim. Additionally, Miss Taraska will duet with special guests David Alan Thornton, Dustin Sullivan and Nikki MacCallum and debut selections from her own musical catalogue.

Shakespeare Theatre of NJ Kicks Off 50th Season with HENRY IV, PART ONE, Now thru 6/24

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey launches its 2012 milestone 50th Anniversary season with William Shakespeare's saga of a young prince's reformation and ascent to manhood - Henry IV, Part One. Considered one of Shakespeare's most popular history plays, this rousing tale has not been produced on The Shakespeare Theatre stage in 20 years. Henry IV, Part One begins performances tonight, May 30 and runs through June 24 at the Theatre's Main Stage - the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre.
