The Public Theater and Donmar Warehouse's production of Privacy, co-created byJames Graham and Josie Rourke, written by James Graham and directed by Josie Rourke began performances on Saturday, July 2 and runs through Sunday, August 14, with an official press opening last night, July 18. The inaugural season of Broadway at The Performing Arts Center brings six of Broadway's leading ladies - and two of its leading men - to its new concert series on Martha's Vineyard this summer, produced by Mark Cortale. Debuting at the venue this month, Megan Hilty, breakout star of NBC TV's 'Smash' and Broadway's 'Wicked' and a Tony nominee for the recent Broadway production of 'Noises Off', will perform on Saturday, July 16 at 8:00 PM, joined by Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host. The hotly anticipated 2016 debut season will also include superstars Vanessa Williams on July 9, Kristin Chenoweth on August 14, Audra McDonald and Will Swenson on August 22, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman on August 29, and Patti LuPone on September 2. Hulu SVP and Head of Content Craig Erwich, along with Mindy Kaling, announced today that Hulu has officially picked up the series for a fifth season.

Hulu has given a second season order to the drama series THE PATH,  starring Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy.

Hulu today announced a straight-to-series order for THE HANDMAID'S TALE, an ongoing drama series from MGM Television based on the award-winning, best-selling novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood. The series will be created, executive produced and written by Bruce Miller (THE 100) with Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears and Warren Littlefield (FARGO) serving as executive producers. Atwood will serve as Consulting Producer for the series, which will debut its first season on Hulu in 2017.

The Public Theater presents the world premiere play Dry Powder by Sarah Burgess, directed by Thomas Kail. Part of Oskar Eustis' 10th Anniversary season, this deliciously funny new drama about the people shaping, and skewing, the American economy has been extended a final week to Sunday, May 1. New York City, NY — Celebrating its 15th season, the Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to BAM Fisher for six performances of Anna Akhmatova: The Heart is Not Made of Stone. Written by Eve Wolf and directed by Donald T. Sanders, this multi-media production examines the troubled relationship between artistic creation and totalitarianism through the perspective of the Russian poet Anna Akhmatova (1889-1966). This tale of passion, love, political repression, and redemption is interwoven with music by Russian composers' Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich.

Tenor Matthew Polenzani--he of the refined singing, elegant deportment and serious nature--is having a great season at the Met, with major roles in a pair of new productions. First, he was Nadir, whose love for the priestess Leila (Diana Damrau) tempts her to give up her vows in Bizet's LES PECHEURS DE PERLES (THE PEARL FISHERS). Now he's working his mojo on no less than Elisabetta (Elizabeth I, the Virgin Queen of England), in the new production of Donizetti's ROBERTO DEVEREUX at the Met, premiering March 24.

In partnership with the American Institute for Economic Research and the Clark Art Institute, the 10-day, 12-performance series of Van Gogh's Ear complements Clark's art exhibition Van Gogh and Nature and features a special pre-performance discussion August 25th led by the Clark's curator at large, Richard Kendall.
