Megan Hilty Headed to Martha's Vineyard This Month

The inaugural season of Broadway at The Performing Arts Center brings six of Broadway's leading ladies - and two of its leading men - to its new concert series on Martha's Vineyard this summer, produced by Mark Cortale. Debuting at the venue this month, Megan Hilty, breakout star of NBC TV's 'Smash' and Broadway's 'Wicked' and a Tony nominee for the recent Broadway production of 'Noises Off', will perform on Saturday, July 16 at 8:00 PM, joined by Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host. The hotly anticipated 2016 debut season will also include superstars Vanessa Williams on July 9, Kristin Chenoweth on August 14, Audra McDonald and Will Swenson on August 22, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman on August 29, and Patti LuPone on September 2. Elisabeth Moss to Star in Hulu's THE HANDMAID'S TALE

Hulu today announced a straight-to-series order for THE HANDMAID'S TALE, an ongoing drama series from MGM Television based on the award-winning, best-selling novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood. The series will be created, executive produced and written by Bruce Miller (THE 100) with Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears and Warren Littlefield (FARGO) serving as executive producers. Atwood will serve as Consulting Producer for the series, which will debut its first season on Hulu in 2017.

New York City, NY — Celebrating its 15th season, the Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to BAM Fisher for six performances of Anna Akhmatova: The Heart is Not Made of Stone. Written by Eve Wolf and directed by Donald T. Sanders, this multi-media production examines the troubled relationship between artistic creation and totalitarianism through the perspective of the Russian poet Anna Akhmatova (1889-1966). This tale of passion, love, political repression, and redemption is interwoven with music by Russian composers' Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich.

Hulu Renews CASUAL for Second Season

Following its successful series debut on October 7th, the Hulu Original CASUAL has already been picked up for a second season with a 13-episode order, the network announced today. Lionsgate Television's critically-acclaimed comedy series will return with creator and executive producer Zander Lehmann and executive producers Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air), Helen Estabrook and Liz Tigelaar.

New York City's Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to the Berkshires for the third consecutive summer with the regional premiere of the theatrical concert Van Gogh's Ear. In partnership with the American Institute for Economic Research and the Clark Art Institute, the 10-day, 12-performance series of Van Gogh's Ear complements Clark's art exhibition Van Gogh and Nature and features a special pre-performance discussion August 25th led by the Clark's curator at large, Richard Kendall.
