Write Act Repertory's LILI MARLENE Extends Through June

Write Act Repertory's Producing Artistic Director John Lant and Producer Tamra Pica are pleased to announce the extension of the off-Broadway East Coast premiere of LILI MARLENE, a new musical about a family's escape from the rising tide of Nazism, with book, music and lyrics by Michael Antin and directed and choreographed by Mark Blowers. 

Eric B. Sirota's FRANKENSTEIN Extends Through June

Producing Artistic Director John Lant, Write Act Repertory and Tamra Pica are pleased to announce another extension of FRANKENSTEIN, a new musical based on Mary Shelley's novel, about the human need for love and companionship, with book, music and lyrics by Eric B. Sirota and directed by Clint Hromsco. The production continues Mondays at 7:00 pm through June 25th 2018.

World Premiere By Willard Manus THE WICKED, WICKED MAE WEST Comes to Brickhouse Theatre

Producers John Lant and Tamra Pica of WRITE ACT REP announce a three Production Series in Rep, "THREE BY WILL - IN REP" which includes two World Premiere's, "Their Finest Hour: Churchill And Murrow," "The Wicked, Wicked Mae West," along with the acclaimed "PREZ - The Lester Young Story."  The three plays will open at Write Act Repertory @ the Brickhouse Theatre beginning February 17th, 2018

Write Act Repertory announces $25.00 rush tickets for the current production of LILI MARLENE. LILI MARLENE, which premiered in NYC in July of 2017 after a successful run in LA, recently extended through March 5th, 2018 at St. Luke's Theatre on 46th Street.

National Comedy Center Acquires The Archive Of Comedian Shelley Berman

The National Comedy Center is proud to announce the acquisition of the archive of ground-breaking comedian Shelley Berman, who passed away in September 2017 at the age of 92. The donation was formally announced during a tribute attended by Larry David, Dr. Demento, Cheryl Hines, Laraine Newman, Howard Storm, David Steinberg, Fred Willard, and Alan Zweibel, hosted by Lewis Black and presented by the National Comedy Center on Tuesday, January 30th at the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California.

FRANKENSTEIN Extends Through March 5 at St. Lukes Theatre

Producing Artistic Director John Lant, Write Act Repertory and Tamra Pica are pleased to announce the extention of FRANKENSTEIN, a new musical based on Mary Shelley's novel, with book, music and lyrics by Eric B. Sirota and directed by Clint Hromsco. The production continues Mondays at 7:00 pm through December 18th, 2017, then returns Monday, January 15th, 2018 at 7:00 pm and continues Mondays at 7:00 pm through March 5th, 2018.

Pillars of New York to Close Wednesday, September 7th

Write Act Repertory's Producing Artistic Director John Lant has announced the East Coast premiere of PILLARS OF NEW YORK, a new musical with book, lyrics and music by Michael Antin, and directed by Jim Blanchette will close as scheduled on Wednesday, September 7th. The final performances are Tuesday, September 6th and Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00 pm.
