The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will continue its engagement at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater on Sunday, May 18 at 9:30 PM with a celebration of the pop diva Janet Jackson. After a highly-successful season at 54 Below, The Meeting* has returned to its downtown roots this year with shows through May. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post, and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A recent story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The May show will feature special guests Cole Escola, Nadia Quinn of "Summer & Eve" and John Early, with others to be announced.

Playing for two performances only on May 11, the 7PM concert event will star Rebecca Luker (Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Nine), Howard McGillin (Phantom of the Opera, She Loves Me, The Secret Garden), and Jessica Molaskey (Parade, Dream, Sunday in the Park with George).

On Monday, April 14, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated songwriter Amanda Green and her Broadway friends in 'Amanda Green's Spring Trunk Show'. The musical event was a celebration of Green's trunkful of songs that were cut on their way to opening nights of Hands on a Hardbody, Bring It On, High Fidelity, and more. The cast included Kathleen Monteleone, Jenn Colella,Greg Naughton, Janet Krupin, Jay Armstrong Johnson, and Ryann Redmond. The musical director for the show wasMatt Gallagher. Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced exciting casting for their Main Stage productions, along with a several special events for their 2014 Summer Season. On the Main Stage: Festival veterans including Nate Corddry, Holley Fain, Christopher Fitzgerald and Nancy Opel join the cast of June Moon, directed by Jessica Stone (July 2- 13); Justin Long returns to Williamstown, joining Renee Fleming in the World Premiere of Living on Love(July 16 - 26), and theater veterans Judy Kuhn, Howard McGillin, festival favorite Roger Rees, and more join Chita Rivera in the John Doyle-directed production of The Visit, with choreography by Graciela Daniele (July 31 - August 17).

Rory O'Malley, Jane Monheit, Julia Murney & More to Headline 4th Annual NIGHT OF A THOUSAND JUDYS, 6/16

The fourth annual 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' - presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - has announced that the initial talent lineup, which will include Jane Monheit (Grammy Award nominated jazz star), Sarah Dash (R&B/Disco legend of LaBelle), Rory O'Malley (Tony Award nominee, The Book of Mormon,) Julia Murney (Wicked, The Wild Party), Erin McKeown (folk-rock singer/songwriter) and Gabrielle Stravelli (Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra). Additional special guests will be announced soon. The Monday, June 16 Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan). Called 'a rambunctious, uproarious, unpredictable all-star concert' by The Wall Street Journal, 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' will honor the iconic Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her legendary career as movie star, recording artist and stage performer. This show will also help celebrate the landmark 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM.
