Mimi Hines, Tovah Feldshuh, Donna Vivino & More Set for FUNNY GIRL Concert at 54 Below, 3/26
Phil Geoffrey Bond will direct FUNNY GIRL, as part of 54 Sings' series, and will feature Carole J. Bufford, Donna Lynne Champlin, Tovah Feldshuh, Debbie Gravitte, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Karen Mason, Julia Murney, Molly Pope, Emily Skinner, John Tartaglia, Donna Vivino and special guest star Mimi Hines.
APPLAUSE will reunite three of the original stars of this Strouse/Adams/Comden/Green smash musical in celebration of a most cherished score. Len Cariou, Penny Fuller & Lee Roy Reams reminisce and re-live adored songs such as The Best Night of My Life, Think How It's Gonna Be & One Hallow'en along with a supporting cast to be announced. It's the musical "event of the season," as Eve Harrington herself would put it.
For TIME AND AGAIN, 54 Below welcomes an all star cast in salute of a great one that got away! Following a slew of workshop productions (which starred the likes of Laura Benanti, Brian d'Arcy James, Rebecca Luker, Howard McGillin, Jessica Molaskey & Julia Murney, among others), this gorgeous show has yet to be seen upon the Great White Way. For one night only, revel in the timeless beauty of Skip Kennon's lush score (which accompanies an evocative book by Jack Viertel). Based on Jack Finney's popular novel,Time and Again is a haunting musical about a modern-day Manhattan advertising illustrator who is transported back to 1880′s New York where he finds himself immersed in a world of horse-drawn carriages, gaslights & an enchanting young woman who will win his heart.
