Center Theatre Group and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that, due to popular demand, performances for the eagerly anticipated production of 'Mary Poppins' at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles will be extended by four weeks.

There will be an additional matinee of 'MAMMA MIA!' at 3.00pm on Tuesday 25 August at the Prince of Wales Theatre. This is a special matinee performance to celebrate Kids Week in London. At this performance for each ticket purchased for an adult, one child may go free. A further two tickets for children may also be purchased at half price. These prices are only applicable if the tickets are booked in one transaction.

The touring production of MARY POPPINS that's currently gracing the stage of the Fox Theatre is 'practically perfect', featuring eye-popping special effects, a glorious set, and terrific performances that manage to capture the spirit of the 1964 Disney film, as well as the P.L. Travers books that inspired it. While some of the more beloved elements from the movie are noticeably absent, they've been replaced with sequences that are every bit as magical and engaging.
