On January thirteenth the DC area arts community lost the immensely talented performer Delores King Williams. She was an incredibly talented actress and singer who was always a huge support factor for her fellow performers.

The Capitol Congressional staffers turned comedians, famed comedy troupe composed ofSteps, will perform Make America Grin Again at the Montalvo Arts Center. Called 'an oasis of good-natured ribbing in a fiercely partisan world' by The Washington Post, the Capitol Steps have slayed the country with their hilarious send-up of the people and institutions that once employed them. Their sketch and improvisational comedy offers a mix of song and standup, lampooning modern political leaders, and tackling major current issues. From the opening number, set to 'Comedy Tonight,' from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, to a rousing finale set to the title tune from Oklahoma, there's something for everyone in this 'comedy tonight.'

In Signature's newest cabaret offering, SIGNATURE SISTERS, the incomparable Sherri Edelen, Signature favorite Susan Derry, and the impossibly young and brilliant Florrie Bagel bring the house down. The three have no trouble filling the room, expressing with delicate harmonies the deep heart of female trios from across the ages.
On the heels of overwhelming critical acclaim and passionate audience response, Palm Beach Dramaworks has scheduled additional performances of Frank Loesser's achingly romantic musical The Most Happy Fella, starring William Michals. Originally slated to close on Sunday, July 27, the concert production will now continue at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis) through Sunday, August 3.
