On January thirteenth the DC area arts community lost the immensely talented performer Delores King Williams. She was an incredibly talented actress and singer who was always a huge support factor for her fellow performers.
Backed by the DC area's own incredible pianist Howard Breitbart on piano, Perry Cavari on drums, and Dylan Shamat on bass, Norm impressed from beginning to end, making the trip to the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater well worth the trip.

Combine Broadway melodies with literature's most famous miser, and instead of 'Bah humbug,' you might be saying 'Encore!.' The good folks at Alexandria's MetroStage are in their fifth season of what has become an annual tradition of presenting A Broadway Christmas Carol, the madcap musical version of the classic Dickens tale, which tells the story by way of well-known Broadway tunes with [liberally] altered lyrics.
