Following the award-nominated 2012 production of Howard Barker's Lot and His God, Artistic Director Anda Winters announces that the acclaimed writer returns to The Print Room for a series of readings performed by his own company as part of his festival Screaming in Advance today, May 3 and May 4.

Lucas Hnath's new play, Isaac's Eye directed by Linsay Firman, has had its world premiere run extended through March 10, Ensemble Studio Theatre Artistic Director William Carden announced today (2/19).

Rehearsals begin this week for the world premiere of Isaac's Eye by Lucas Hnath, directed by Linsay Firman. Isaac's Eye, an Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan Project for New Plays on Science and Technology presentation, is the tale of an emotionally immature, 25-year-old Isaac Newton, his drive to become a fellow of The Royal Society and the great scientist Robert Hooke who, in Mr. Hnath's play, is the nemesis standing in his way. Iaaac's Eye begins previews Wednesday, January 30, at 7:00pm for an opening on Saturday, February 9, at 7:00p.m at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street.

Arizona Theatre Company presents the Arizona Premiere of "Jane Austen's Emma" a new romantic musical comedy that brings Jane Austen's masterpiece to life. "Jane Austen's Emma" plays at the Temple of Music and Art and runs from December 1, 2012 - December 22, 2012. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from December 31, 2012 - January 20, 2013. "Jane Austen's Emma" is sponsored by Shirley Estes. ATC's season sponsors are I. This season's line-up includes Caryl Churchill's Serious Money - receiving its first New York revival since the 1988 Broadway production - about greed in London's financial district in the late '80s, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Cheryl Faraone.
