York Little Theater's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Set To Run 11/6-22

York Little Theatre is proud to present Broadway's classic musical fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, which will run from November 6 - 22, 2009. The production features the music of Alan Menken with lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton. Beauty and the Beast is based on the 1991 Academy Award winning feature film of the same name and was nominated for 9 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score.
TARZAN Celebrates First Anniversary in Germany

TARZAN®, Disney's musical based on the stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs and the 1999 animated film, celebrated its first anniversary at the Theater Neue Flora last night with a special gala performance attended by the show's composer and international recording star, Phil Collins. The Hamburg production continues to be one of the most popular shows in Germany having played to more than 714,000 guests in its first phenomenally successful year.

Marking the beginning of its 20th Anniversary Season, or 'The Year of Enchantment,' Hartford Children's Theatre (HCT) announces its production of the beloved family musical, Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Under the direction of HCT's newly appointed Artistic Director, Ryan Ratelle with Musical Direction and Choreography by Lisa Foss, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST opens on Friday, October 30 at the Carol Autorino Center for Arts and Humanities on the campus of Saint Joseph College where the show will run through Saturday, November 7, 2009.
