Woodland Opera House Announces Auditions For DISNEY'S ALADDIN JR. 10/26, 10/28
"Disney's Aladdin, Jr" Book by Jim Luigs, Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice Dates: Monday, October 26 and Weds. October 28 at 7 pm
Auditions will be held at the Woodland Opera House dance studio at 415 4th Street, Woodland, 95695
About the show: All of your favorite characters are here in this stage adaptation of the Disney hit, including Aladdin, Jasmine, and of course, the Genie. Filled with magic, mayhem, flying carpet rides, and the tuneful Academy award-winning score with songs including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me".
Please bring resume/photo- if available. Sheet music, (14-32 bars in your key) to a prepared song and dress to move. Accompanist is provided.
Performance Dates: January 22 through February 14 Fridays at 7:30 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm
Needed: Aladdin, Genie, Jasmine, Jafar, Sultan: Age range of 14-18
Other acting roles, soloists, and large ensemble: Age range 8-18
Workshop Performance: Tuition is $180 per cast member.. Family discount/scholarships available. No other fees or parent participation required.
